Why the 2018 Kia Stringer promises to be more than just a luxury car?

Why the 2018 Kia Stringer promises to be more than just a luxury car?

Kia has earned a place for itself for building and marketing low-cost cars that appealed to the popular market. But the Korean company has now set eyes to gain prominence within the sports sedan market that is been dominated by German car makers. Kia will soon be launching the 2018 Kia Stinger that promises a premium experience for long-distance driving.

The turbocharged vehicle with a rear-wheel drive is poised to complete with premium sedans Audi A5 Sportback and BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe.  The model that is equipped with a turbo-4 engine will have a base price of $32,795 and it will have 255 hp. On the other hand, the model that is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 will have a starting price of $39,895 and it will be boosted by 365 hp. The all-drive-version of the car will be tentatively priced at $51,000. The Base and the premium versions will be fitted with the turbo-4 engine while the GT versions will be fitted with the V-6 engine. The GT versions will be able to achieve a speed from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. Moreover, the GT model will be able to achieve a top speed of 167 mph.

The credit for Kia Stinger’s design goes to Albert Biermann who was the former head of BMW’s Motorsport division. The engineering team has proved customer-centric by taking cultural nuances into consideration while designing the car. Kia has gone to the extent of giving a customized exhaust tune to its American customers.  Kia Stinger’s American customers will also get a unique audio system that will deliver a boomier sound that will fill the cabin with high bass.  Ultimately, Kia’s engineers have proved that the Stinger is not just about luxury and comfort but the car is also about enjoying a long-drive that is worth cherishing.
