Embrace yourself! 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show featured one of the most exciting hyper cars: the Mercedes AMG Project One.
With an estimated cost of $2mn, the project one showcases a monstrous engine out of an actual Formula 1 car. Loaded with the goodness of record-breaking dynamics, the car is powered by 1,000 horsepower, and cruises from 0-124 mph in merely 6.0 seconds. The super hybrid car could take on the roads at the top speed of over 218 mph – which brings it to the elite club of the fastest cars on the planet right now. What makes it one of the quickest cars on the planet is the powerful engine that goes up to 11,000 rpm.
The car is structurally long and wide, yet takes care of the aero concepts to ensure high-speed. It features big fins on the top, rear and side beside the carbon fibre that could be spectacled everywhere.
Furthermore, the car features functional interiors, various driving modes (Thanks to the through and thorough AMG). As stated by Mercedes, The car still offers F-1 throttle response even if you turn all the assists off.
An engineering masterclass, the car caters to you the brilliance of four electric motors – two of which drives the front wheels, one works on the driveshaft, and one powers a turbo that spins up to 100,000 revolutions per minute.
The car is still 18-19 months behind the customer delivery – which gives it the tag of ‘concept car’ for now.
