The main features on the Sport trim include LED headlights, sharp 18-inch alloy wheels, the dynamic infotainment system called Mazda Connect, a 7.0-inch touchscreen etc. Now, you could opt for the progressive safety features in the Sport trim. It comes loaded with the safety package that includes lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, high beam assist , and of course the automatic emergency braking for higher speeds.

The crossover is endowed with a 2.5-liter turbo-four rated which produces power equivalent to 250 horses on premium fuel whereas 227 hp on regular fuel, complimented by 310 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed automatic is the sole transmission available.

Mazda is known for laying attention on driving dynamics in its vehicles, and this works wonders to help CX-9 stands a notch-higher than other mid-size crossovers. So, if you are in search of an SUV stress the "sport" aspect must consider the CX-9.
