Brabus stands tall in the field of grooming the luxury vehicles and converting them into Hovering-horsepower beasts. The Barbus continued its rage but this time with the Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet. Earlier, the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 generated 621 horsepower, which is quite huge for someone looking to ascend to wards the country club, but that wasn’t enough for Brabus.
In a bid to harness more power, Brabus upgraded the V-12 to raise it to a 6.3-liter. It also incorporated larger turbocharges in addition to the custom exhaust system to draw a gigantic 887 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. Yes, you read that correctly. Barbus managed to draw out a four-digit torque reading on a cabriolet.
Other than the top of performance upgrades, the Brabus Rocket 900 comes loaded with the goodness of custom interior complimented by steel accents, a 0.6-inch lowering kit, 21-inch solid wheels, and additional aerodynamics. And when all these features blend together, the Rocket 900 emerges as a record breaking 4-seater cabriolet hitting 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. It is good enough to top out at 217 mph.
Brabus is all set to showcase the Rocket 900 at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. There is no official price release for the car yet.
