The British Luxury auto-giants, Austin Martin unveiled the Vanquish Zagato Speedster complimented by the shooting brake set in order to join the company’s volante and coupe models.
The Vanquish Zagato Speedster derives its foundation stone from the Aston Martin Vanquish. The car showcases a splendid roofless design which induces the look of a drop-top performance sports car.
The Vanquish Zagato Speedster is backed by the 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine which produces power equivalent to the 580 horses. The engine is complimented by the Touchtronic III transmission. The car could reach from zero to 100km/h within 3.5 seconds.
Vanquish Zagato Speedster showcases twin fog lights towards the front. Further, its front fascia features a re-designed bonnet, new rockers and fenders. On the other hand, the car’s rear showcases humps, a streamlined cowl stretching backwards from the seats, signifying Zagato's marquee double-bubble roof.
What gives a finishing touch to the car’s rear are the ‘Blade' tail lights which are exclusively Vulcan-inspired. The car’s body panel would be prepared out of carbon resembling the other cars in Vanquish Zagato family.
The latest upgrade to the line-up is the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake. As confessed by Aston Martin, the Shooting Brake still adheres to strict two-seater but turns to be a practical GT.
Zagato plans to manufacture as limited as 325 Vanquish models in total. The company’s rich history has witnessed as many as 99 Coupes and 99 Volantes. On contrary, only 28 examples of the Speedster will be made, whereas 99 units of Shooting Brake will be produced with the production to commence in 2018.
