Embrace yourself Ferrari-enthusiasts! As Ferrari celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, RM Sotherby’s plans to celebrate this anniversary with a grand auction which it terms the “most significant single-marque sale in auction history,” which will take place on September 8 at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy.
As promised by RM Sotheby’, the upcoming auction would be a car-enthusiast’s paradise as it will showcase some of the most desirable and valuable Ferraris on the planet.
As quoted by the auction house founder and CEO Rob Myers, “At RM Sotheby’s we are continually striving to offer our clients an experience that is second to none,” He added “Our partnership with Ferrari is a direct reflection of this crowning achievement. For collectors and enthusiasts alike, the sale represents a world-class and singular event, perhaps one of the most significant auctions ever held, in fact.”
There is no denying the fact that RM has successfully made itself a name, having sold more than any other auction house. It boasts itself of holding the record for offering four of the top ten most desirable Ferraris ever showcased in a public sale.
The history has witnessed the splendid partnership shared by RM Sotheby’s and Ferrari, who have come together on numerous occasions in the past, incorporating the 2007-2009 record-breaking ‘Leggenda e Passione’ auctions held at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, which not only strengthen their partnership but also cemented RM’s expertise with the marque.
The duo continued to prove the strength and metal of its partnership, this time in December 2016, which featured the charity auction of a unique LaFerrari at the Finali Mondiali at Daytona. The car went on to achieve a record-setting $7,000,000.
Likewise, this auction won’t be any different but much more grand in all prospects. So, if you’re hunting to own a new Prancing Horse, the upcoming weeks could be your golden opportunity to find yourself the trusty steed that you’ve been looking for.
