Maserati has revealed the 2018 GranTurismo in New York. The lineup has two models only, the Sport and the newly introduced MC model. The 2018 GranTurismo has received updates inside and outside as well. The new GranTurismo brings a revised aerodynamics with a new front air ducts, and a redesigned grille to help reduce its drag coefficient from 0.33 to 0.32.
The remains at 4.7 liters V8 engine, but output has been increased to 454 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque for both models. While the previous model was at 444 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. The gearbox remains at 6 speed automatic. The refreshed GranTurismo sport can drive up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds while the MC model can take up to 4.4 seconds.
Maserati hasn’t only updated the exterior but also introduced new technology on the inside. With A new infotainment system featuring an 8.4-inch touchscreen, it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. And also a new premium audio system option available “Harman Kardon”. The center console has been updated with a new button distribution.
The price for the new GranTurismo would start at around $ 134,000 while the GranTurismo MC would start from around $ 152,000.
