The Kia K900 is a luxury sedan that is popular for delivering value for money. Its low price makes it an affordable alternative to high-end executive sedans like Tesla Model S, Audi A7 and the Genesis G90. Kia will soon be launching a redesigned version of the Kia K900 which will have several luxurious features that will make the car suitable for executives.
Elegant Style
The teaser sketches of the upcoming 2019 Kia K900 reveal it to be longer and more stylish than its predecessor. The interior cabin looks elegant due to the minimalist look as well the high-quality leather and wood trims that are used in the upholstery. Moreover, the controls and dials are made up of real metal. A pair of 12.3-inch digital screens serve that focal points for instrument and infotainment controls.
The exterior appears as luxurious as the interiors due to the presence of a mesh grille that is made up of 176 individual cells. Moreover, the twin-bar graphics on the head and taillights along with the graceful lines over the hood accentuate the sedan’s beautiful look.
Engine
Kia hasn’t revealed the details with regard to 2019 K900’s powertrain. However, the sedan shares its underlying platform with the Genesis G90; hence it can be speculated that the standard version of luxury sedan will get a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine while the high-end trim level will get a 5.0-litre V8 engine.
The V6 engine will be delivering a power of 365 hp and the V8 engine will be offering a power of 420 hp. The previous model of the K900 was criticized for delivering low fuel economy and it is expected that the 2019 K900 will be delivering better fuel economy.
Launch and price
The 2019 Kia K900 will be tentatively launched at the upcoming New York International Auto Show. The sedan will have a starting price of $50,000. The car proves to be a true luxury sedan that delivers excellent ride quality delivered by other high-end rivals.
However, its only shortcoming might be its perceived brand value in comparison with its Japanese and European rivals that are usually considered more prestigious to own.
