Why will the 2018 Toyota C-HR appeal to unconventional buyers?

Why will the 2018 Toyota C-HR appeal to unconventional buyers?

The competition in the subcompact SUV market is intensifying as the demand for SUVs is superseding the demand for passenger cars. The Toyota C-HR is one of the popular as well as an affordable subcompact SUV that competes with the likes of Mazda CX-3 and Honda HR-V in the international market.

The 2018 Toyota C-HR has been positioned to deliver excellent handling and better fuel economy. Recently, Toyota has introduced the hybrid version of the 2018 Toyota C-HR to gain a lead over its rivals.  The Toyota C-HR may not be as roomy as the Honda HR-V but it looks quite astonishing and the new model delivers fun and excitement that is on par with the Mazda CX-3’s driving experience.

The various trim levels of the 2018 Toyota C-HR are primarily designed for the European markets and this particular Toyota vehicle is not sold in the Dubai market. However, the Toyota C-HR is quite popular in Dubai’s used car market and a number of expats prefer to import the subcompact SUV to Dubai.  It is worth noting the areas where the 2018 Toyota C-HR scores over its rivals.

Precision Handling

The excellent handling compensates for the slow speed delivered by the 2-liter 4-cylinder engine. The precision steering of the 2018 Toyota C-HR has been thoroughly tested on the Nürburgring race tracks where other famous precision-oriented vehicles are put to the test.

Accurate suspension tuning within the 2018 Toyota C-HR ensure that the ride quality is not sacrificed while the SUV is being driven on an uneven surface. The engine gives out 144 hp and it is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) system that provides a wider range of gear ratios.

Eye-catching exterior

The 2018 Toyota C-HR’s exterior design is the most compelling feature of the SUV.  The vehicle’s impressive angles, curves, slits and crests clearly vouch for Toyota’s claim that the ‘C-HR’ stands for ‘Coupe, High Riding’. The startling visual appearance of the SUV gives it an appearance similar to a luxurious 2-door coupe.

The sloping roofline, the cat-eyed lamps, the side stampings and a taller rear end impart an angular appearance to the vehicle. Just like its exteriors, the Toyota C-HR’s interiors feature unconventionally shaped knobs, switches and touchscreen controls.

Clearly, the 2018 Toyota C-HR is for the customers who wish to enjoy a smooth ride in an unconventional and an affordable subcompact SUV.  The question is whether such an unconventional SUV find its way to the heart of the usual car enthusiast in Dubai?
