The 2019 lnfiniti QX50 has been garnering the attention of car experts ever since it made its debut in 2017. Recently, a number of automobile experts took a test-drive to inspect the SUV thoroughly and the results confirm the speculation that the new QX50 is poised to be a dominant player in the highly competitive compact SUV market.

Infiniti has equipped the new QX50 with a variable-compression (VC) turbo engine that gives out a power of 269 hp power and a torque of 280 lb-ft. The VC-turbo engine changes the compression ration as per the driving situation and thereby achieves a fine balance between fuel efficiency and performance.
On the highway, the FWD and the AWD versions yield a fuel economy numbers of 31 mpg and 30 mpg respectively. On the other hand, the combined fuel economy figures are 27 mpg for FWD QX50 and 26 mpg for AWD QX50. The AWD version can be driven with a top speed of 143 mph and it can speed up from 0-60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.

The 2019 Infiniti QX50’s new front-drive-based platform that has given the SUV designers freedom to maximize space. Moreover, the new VC-turbo engine is smaller and so it has freed up space within the SUV.

The hood of the SUV proves to be the most striking feature of the vehicle as it swoops down just over the front grille in a style that best resembles the Jaguar F-type’s sloping nose. According to Infiniti, the 2019 QX50’s style and practicality will appeal well-to-do young families and cost-cutting, empty nesters.
