The SUV is also equipped with a wireless-charging smartphone system. Customers have the option to choose between a 5,7 or an 8 inches infotainment screens.
The interiors of the 2018 Hyundai Kona are as stylish as the exteriors and the cabin’s upholstery is made up of high-quality materials. The 2.0-litre engine delivers 147 hp that enables the SUV to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds. Additionally, the standard SUV model makes the vehicle run with a top speed of 193 km/h. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission system. On the other hand, the turbo-engine gives out 175 hp that enables the SUV to zoom to a top speed of 210 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
The Competition
The 2018 Hyundai Kona competes with Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks and Mazda CX-3. As of now, the SUV is not sold in the Dubai SUV market and enthusiasts can import the car from abroad. It is interesting to note that Hyundai has positioned the Kona between the Creta and the Tucson in the global market.
