Fuel-Efficient Powertrain
Jeep hasn’t revealed any details or specifications with regard to the upcoming model but the company has confirmed that the 2019 Jeep Cherokee will have a powertrain that will deliver on fuel-efficiency. The existing Cherokee model gets 271 hp from a V6 engine and hence there is a possibility that the new model will be equipped with a turbo 4-cylinder or a V8 engine that will deliver more power.
There is a greater chance of seeing a turbo 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor setup for improving mileage and fuel-efficiency. The model will have greater capability because of advanced air suspensions that will deliver better ground clearance. The 360-degree camera view enables the vehicle to be maneuvered easily on a rough terrain. Moreover, the Cherokee will be made available with the usual rear-wheel drive and an additional all-wheel drive options.
Minor Tweaks
The only obvious change that will be found in the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is inclusion of a combined unit of a daytime running lights and the projector lights. The arrangement will look similar to the one that is found on other Jeep vehicles.
