The 2019 Kia Sorento is touted to be a tough SUV that can be driven under a range of weather conditions and road tracks. The brutal toughness of the vehicle will be witnessed at the Los Angeles Auto Show where the SUV will be driven on a 6.5-mile rocky terrain. The public demonstration of the SUV’s ruggedness will prove that the SUV is capable of rivalling even heavy-duty SUV’s like Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Sorento’s plush interiors as well as the soft leather upholstery ensures that the passengers’ comfortable riding experience remains untouched by the rough conditions prevailing on the road.
Minor Modifications
The US version of the 2019 Kia Sorento will not differ much from the international version. The recent photos of the upcoming version reveal that the model will have taillights and the LED light signatures similar to the European version. The only noticeable difference is the inclusion of C-shaped chrome plating on the rear bumper.
The engine details of the Sorento are known yet and it is speculated that the SUV will come in three engine variants that will potentially deliver 185 hp, 240 hp and 290 hp respectively.
The new Sorento in the Middle East
The SUV is very popular in the region and it has also won the prestigious ‘Middle East Car of the Year’ award in 2015. Customers in Dubai and other regions of the Middle east can expect a regional launch of 2019 Kia Sorento soon after it is made available in the US market.
