The updated version of Mazda6 to be unveiled at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show

The Mazda6 has been one of Mazda’s best selling cars and one of the most popular executive saloons across the globe.  The car has been delivering excellent fuel economy figures and its lower carbon emissions make it a preferred choice of a small but dedicated market segment.  Due to its lower running costs, the Mazda6 has always enjoyed a leadership in the niche segment between premium brands and mass-market rivals like Honda.  Mazda is going to unveil an improved and a reengineered version of the Mazda 6 at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

New Updates

The latest model of the Mazda6 belongs to the third generation of Mazda’s mid-size family cars and the current round updates will be the third in the series so far. The updates comprise of new engine options and minor tweaks in the car’s style.  The upcoming lineup of Mazda’s flagship saloon will be equipped with a 5-litre Skyactiv-G turbocharged petrol engine that is speculated to deliver 170 kW. It is said to be the same engine that powers Mazda CX-9.

Better Interiors

Currently, Mazda has released just two images of the upcoming model and the images clearly reveal that the model has been endowed with a mature and a composed personality.  New materials like Japanese Sen Wood have been used in the interiors.  Additionally, a number of driver assistance functions have been updated.  The images of the new Mazda6 has generated a buzz amongst car enthusiasts and we will have to wait the model is fully unveiled.

Mazda6 in Dubai

The Mazda6 driving experience is considered as better than its Japanese rivals and hence it enjoys a dominant presence in the Dubai market. The car is considered as ‘best-in-class’ family vehicle that deliver economy and space. Recently, the Mazda unveiled the CX-5 model at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show and the upcoming Mazda6 may deliver a back-to-back win for the Japanese company in the Dubai market.
