Upmarket customers always crave for more and hence luxury brands in the car market are always seen expanding the top end of their product range. Like its counterparts, BMW has been reinventing its product lines and upgrading car models existing series like the 3 Series, 7 Series and the 8 Series respectively. More recently, the German car giant has revealed that it will be launching limited versions of the enhanced and upgraded M3 CS. It has been reported that only 1200 units of limited edition models will be manufactured at BMW’s Regensburg plant.
BMW has claimed that the M3 CS weighs 1,585 kg and it is lighter than the standard M3 by 10 kg. Additionally, it has better handling than the standard version due to a lower center of gravity. The car will be given 453 hp by the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engine that makes the car rush from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The power rating clearly shows that the BMW M3 CS has 20 hp more power than the standard version and 8 hp more power than M3 Competition Package. The power is transmitted to rear wheels by a dual-clutch gearbox and the Active M differential.
The M3 CS is made up of lightweight materials and one can find the plastic roof and the bonnet from enhanced carbon fiber. The CS version’s seats and steering wheel are similar to the ones found in M3 Competition pack. Moreover, the car also has the red started-button found in the M5. The limited edition car version is also equipped with an enhanced navigation system, a premium sound system and an automatic climate controls.
The limited edition BMW M3 CS will tentatively get more customers in the Dubai than any other market in the world. This is because luxury sells in Dubai and BMW is one of the leading brands sold in Dubai. In fact, luxury car segment outperformed other niches even when the car market had entered a slump. Overall, the BMW M3 CS will surely delight the Emirati customers.
