With a view to achieving its vision of ‘Intelligent Mobility’, Nissan has upgraded its X-Trail SUV to a more tech-savvy and upmarket version that has been recently launched in South Africa. Previously, Nissan had unveiled the ‘Nissan Intelligent Mobility’ vision by stating that it wanted to equip cars with technology that will deliver more enjoyable driving experience while minimizing air pollution. Nissan also aims to minimize on-road casualties and accidents by enabling safe autonomous driving.
The new Nissan X-Trail has a plethora of warning systems that provide details with regard to blind spots, lane departure, cross traffic and forward collisions. Moreover, the new version has an emergency braking system and an automatic headlight dipping system that responds to oncoming traffic. The SUV is also equipped with Nissan’s 360-degree view technology that assists the driver while parking the vehicle. The technology uses 4 cameras to offer a bird’s eye view of the car so that the driver can maneuver the car easily.
Even though its engine configurations and specifications do not change, the Nissan X-Trail has got restyled interiors that give the SUV a classy look and feel. The steering wheel, the door panels, the seat fabric and the centre console have all been donned with luxurious materials. The car exterior has received a facelift that gives the model a bold look thanks to the ‘V-Motion’ grille that extends to the edges of the headlights. Additionally, the look is completed by front fog-lights, LED tail-lights and an updated rear bumper.
Nissan X-Trail appeals to a broad range of customers who desire to own a luxurious family car that offers space, safety, security, styling and, more importantly, performance. With an award-winning and a dedicated distributor team at its disposal, Nissan can expect the newer version of X-Trail to create an impact in the Dubai market. The low-cost versions of the X-Trail are available with a starting price of AED 88,500 while the costliest version has a base price of AED 129,000.
